Automotive Validation & Test Engineer (SIL & HIL)
This will help you grow:
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios for SiL and HiL environments.
- Configure, execute, and optimize SiL/HiL simulation and validation environments.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and utilities using Python and/or C++/Cmocka.
- Create and maintain simulation scenarios using Carmaker/DYNA4/ OpenSCENARIO or equivalent tools.
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and support defect resolution.
- Knowledge about virtual ECUs.
- Prepare validation reports, test documentation, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, simulation teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards, including ISO 26262, ASPICE, SOTIF and customer-specific development processes.
- Participate in technical reviews, engineering discussions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
This is how you will help us move forward:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in automotive software validation, preferably in ADAS or Automated Driving.
- Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Testing
- ADAS Simulation & Scenario Development
- Python and/or C++
- Test Automation Framework Development
- OpenSCENARIO and OpenDRIVE (preferred)
- Automotive Testing Methodologies
- Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD
- Linux Environment
- Codebeamer or equivalent ALM/Requirements Management tools
- Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis
- ISO 26262 Functional Safety (preferred)
- ASPICE knowledge (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- ISTQB Foundation Certification (preferred)
