OVD (Overall Vehicle Development)

This will help you grow:

• Develop and validate overall vehicle packaging concepts from early development to series production
• Create and validate 3D CAD surface data from scan data ensuring Class-A surface quality
• Evaluate and validate styling design models based on GFK requirements and regulations
• Coordinate with packaging, styling, component engineering, DMU, and protoshop teams
• Supervise and validate build space, assembly feasibility, and part geometries
• Manage part package releases in PDM and ensure timely completion
• Maintain and review Bill of Materials for assigned platforms and carlines
• Create certification, homologation, GCIE, and regulatory drawings
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in RD systems including layouts and master lists
• Initiate corrective actions for any deviations from vehicle specifications or module strategies

• Strong understanding of overall vehicle design and vehicle development lifecycle
• Excellent knowledge of vehicle packaging concepts and ergonomics
• High proficiency in Siemens UG NX: Modelling, Tubing, Electrical, and Class-A Surfacing
• Experience with PDM / PLM tools and Virtual Reality environments
• Strong knowledge of Interior and Exterior vehicle systems
• Understanding of Powertrain, Chassis, HVAC, Exhaust, Fuel, and Hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of Crash behavior, pedestrian protection, and vehicle safety
• Basic knowledge of Hybrid and Electric Vehicle architectures
• Familiarity with vehicle regulations, homologation, GCIE, BOM, and change management workflows
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
