Thermal & HVAC System - Function Development and Simulation Engineer
This will help you grow:
- Develop and simulate automotive thermal and HVAC systems.
- Build cooling circuits for ICE, HEV, and BEV applications
- Perform battery, electric motor, inverter, and power electronics thermal simulations
- Model cabin HVAC performance, energy consumption, and thermal comfort
- Heat dissipation calculations
- Control logic implementation in vehicle
- Optimize cooling systems (pump/valve strategies, radiator capacity)
- Analyze test data and correlate simulations (software and hardware in loop support)
- Support thermal and drive testing and measurement and validation and analysis of test data with simulation tools
- High voltage and low voltage system thermal analysis
- Collaborate with design, testing, and controls teams in a global environment

- Thermodynamics (refrigeration cycles, HVAC)
- Heat transfer (conduction, convection, radiation)
- Vehicle heat exchanger systems
- Coolant, oil, and refrigerant flow behavior
- EV battery thermal behavior knowledge
- Transient/steady state heat modeling knowledge
- ICE thermal systems (radiators, pumps, thermostats)
- EV/HEV thermal systems (battery, motor, inverter)
- Under hood aero-thermal behavior
- Cabin HVAC performance and comfort requirements
- Electric drive and drive system behavior
